Barbara’s connection to the school reaches back generations, but she’s has taught here for 15 years. Her parents attended St. Luke’s, and she and her siblings attended IHM–St. Luke’s. She says the school feels like family because people are known and loved here.
Her favorite teacher was fun, supportive, and patient.
Saint Mother Teresa inspires Barbara through her love, service, and devotion to people who are poor, sick, or suffering. Her example encourages Barbara to create a classroom where each child feels safe, supported, and known. Outside school, Barbara enjoys time with her husband and dog. Fancy Nancy is her favorite children’s book, and India is her favorite travel destination.
