Boys and Girls Grades 5–8

• Practices start early/mid-November

• Games start in early December

• Season runs until mid/late February

• Coached by volunteer coaches from the community

• Practice days/times are determined by gym availability and coaches’ schedules

Boys and Girls Grades 5–8

• Capped at ~ 50 skiers & snowboarders

• No experience necessary! A lesson is available for free on the first night from an experienced parent

• Ski at Hyland Hills in Bloomington

• We schedule four ski club dates over two months: we aim to schedule two in January and two in February; we do not schedule over Presidents' Day weekend

• Bus takes students to the hill after school and returns to STM later in the evening

• Chaperoned by four parents each week

• Gear rental is available through Hyland

Boys and Girls Grades K–8

• Kinders must pass a swim test in order to be on the team; more information about this will come out during the registration process

• Practices are held at the St. Thomas Academy pool and the YWCA on Selby

• Practices begin in January and are three days a week: two at STA and one at the YWCA

• Swimmers have the option of participating in swim meets throughout the season

• Prelims take place mid-April; state swim meets are held the following week at the U of M Aquatic Center

• Three VERY dedicated STM parents coach the team with some help from STM alumni!
