Kathy is passionate about literature as she leads the oldest students through reading some difficult books. Kathy has taught here for 12 years, and she describes it as the most welcoming community she has experienced in education. It is a place where people are met where they are and loved for who they are.
She remembers a favorite teacher who clearly loved her students and brought both patience and a sense of humor to the classroom.
Mary, the Mother of God, is Kathy’s favorite saint and confirmation namesake because she models courageously saying yes to Christ. Outside of school, Kathy loves spending time with her husband and family. Harry Potter is her favorite children’s series, and Ireland stands out as a particularly beautiful and peaceful place she has visited.
