Ava has taught at STM for five years. Ava describes the school as a close-knit community with an unusual spirit of authenticity. People truly mean it when they offer support and help others grow by meeting them where they are.
Her favorite teacher was approachable, passionate, and generous with her time, qualities Ava hopes to emulate with her own students.
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is a special friend in prayer and an example of childlike trust in God. Ava is an enthusiastic reader who usually has at least three books on her nightstand. Little Women and The Day You Begin are particular favorites. Salzburg, Austria is a dream destination for a Sound of Music fan and is among her most memorable travels.
