Bridget has been part of STM for three years. She values the school’s commitment to caring for the whole person and the five core qualities of a Jesuit education: being open to growth, committed to excellence, loving, religious, and committed to doing justice. She especially appreciates the House and buddy programs, which build meaningful relationships across grade levels. Her favorite teacher showed kindness, patience, and an unshakable belief in the inherent goodness of every student.
Saint Thomas More is Bridget’s favorite saint because of his commitment to conscience, rigorous education, and the formation of the whole person, including his belief in the equal intellectual capacity of women and men. Outside school, Bridget loves performing through singing and dancing, especially with her family. Frog and Toad Are Friends is her favorite children’s book. Favorite travel memories include San Sebastián, Spain; Montecatini Terme, Italy; and Charleston, South Carolina.
