Bridget has been part of STM for three years and brings 17+ years of experience serving children, families, and the broader Saint Paul community to her current role at STM. Bridget’s career reflects a passion to support young people, in expanding access to resources, and doing justice by standing with and for others. From taking calls as a 911 operator and trainer before serving in the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office as a Child Support Worker and Victim Witness Advocate, to leading as director and instructor of The North End outreach program through Saint Paul Public Schools and Saint Paul City Ballet – Bridget‘s experiences have shaped her commitment to honor and apply restorative and trauma-informed approaches while connecting with and supporting children and families.
At STM, Bridget is drawn to the Jesuit commitment to caring for the whole person, and the belief that each student from every culture is capable of learning and deserves pathways to engage, grow, and succeed. In Admissions and Advancement, she works to extend that care to prospective families and to joyfully create opportunities for the entire STM community to strengthen and support the school. She especially appreciates STM’s House and buddy programs, which foster meaningful relationships across grade levels.
Inspired by her favorite teachers: Mrs. Schneeman, who showed loving-kindness, patience, and an unshakable belief in the inherent goodness of all students, and Fr. Greg Boyle who lives out inclusive, unconditional love that welcomes all, creates belonging, embraces otherness, and shortens the distance between people – Bridget has learned so much from these mentors’ guidance on recognizing our shared humanity and practicing radical hospitality.
Outside of school, Bridget loves singing and dancing, especially with her family. Beloved books include Frog and Toad Are Friends, Jane Eyre, and current compilation Everyman’s Library by James Baldwin. Favorite travel memories include choir trips to Europe (Spain, Italy, France, Corsica), a study abroad J-term in Cuba, and family trips to South Carolina, California, and Colorado.
