Erica is in her fifth year teaching language arts and religion to middle schoolers. Erica believes the school is special because its Jesuit values are lived out each day through a deliberate commitment to being people for others and caring for one another in body, mind, and spirit.
Joy, patience, and humor are the qualities she remembers most in her favorite teacher.
Saint Cecilia is one of Erica’s favorite saints because she is the patron saint of poets and musicians and her feast day falls on Erica’s birthday. Outside of school, Erica enjoys spending time with family. Her favorite children’s book is The Velveteen Rabbit, and Paris is her favorite place she has traveled.
