George’s connection to STM spans 30 years as both a parent and teacher, including 20 years on the teaching staff. He values the way students are appreciated and known and says he has never worked with a more dedicated group of people.
A favorite teacher from his own school years was personable, clearly enjoyed her students, and held them to high expectations.
Saint Thomas More has long been especially meaningful to George, not simply because he is the school’s namesake. After seeing A Man for All Seasons as a young person, George was struck by Thomas More’s intelligence, wit, determination, and faith.
Outside of school, George is a huge baseball fan and a space exploration enthusiast. The Sneetches by Dr. Seuss is one of his favorite children’s stories, and Glacier National Park and Banff, Canada, rank among his favorite places to visit.
