Faculty & Staff

Kiana has worked at STM since 2023 and says the families and close-knit community are what make the school especially meaningful to her. One of her favorite teachers combined kindness with high expectations while filling the classroom with fun, hands-on activities. That balance helped create a strong classroom community and made learning something students genuinely looked forward to.

Saint Catherine of Alexandria holds a special place in Kiana’s heart, both because of her connection to St. Catherine University and because Saint Catherine is a patron saint of women in education, students, and preachers.

When she has time outside of school, Kiana loves to read. I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen is a favorite children’s book, and she especially enjoys traveling to the East Coast. Rhode Island, which she visits nearly every year, is a favorite because of its proximity to the beach.
