In her sixth year at Saint Thomas More, Lauren teaches second grade. She values the way students, staff, and families support one another across grade levels. She has witnessed the community rally around people in need and believes that the community is very engaged.
Her favorite teacher was caring, enthusiastic, and creative. Lauren continues use these qualities to guide her own approach in the classroom.
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is especially meaningful to Lauren because her “Little Way” shows how everyday acts can share God’s love and make a difference. Outside school, Lauren enjoys being outdoors, often while playing tennis or reading. She loved the Little House on the Prairie series as a child, and Costa Rica is her favorite place she has traveled.
