For Noah, STM is both a workplace and a community he has known since childhood. An STM student from preschool through eighth grade, he has now worked at the school since 2020 and especially values its accepting and welcoming environment. The qualities that stood out in his own favorite teacher were kindness, understanding, and a genuine enjoyment of teaching.
Saint Luke the Evangelist is Noah’s favorite saint. As someone who enjoys art, Noah is particularly drawn to the tradition of Saint Luke as the first icon painter and the connection he represents between faith and visual art. Creating art remains one of Noah’s favorite activities outside of school.
His favorite children’s book is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands is the best place he has traveled so far.
